Needless to say, wiring shouldn't be faulty especially when it has such a high voltage running through it. This could have been avoided if people had not been negligent and the cables were neatly sorted. When I first read the story I thought to myself what was she holding a metal pole or something.. and then I saw it and I was like yeah of course.
