CCTV footage appears to show a black Mercedes cutting up and crashing into a red BMW on a busy highway in the city of Ma'anshan in Anhui province.
The drivers of the vehicles which collided were reported to be father and son who were having a "family feud".
The pair can be seen taking their fight onto the street when they get out of their vehicles and chase each other along the road.
Police in China reported that the father and son were both later questioned by officers.
