Happened in Sterlitamak, Bashkortostan, Russia. A Daewoo Nexia ran a red light and T-boned a Lada 111, and both cars then hit a third car. The Lada driver was killed. He was returning from a fishing trip and had a wife and two small children.

The Nexia driver was hospitalized in intensive care. Witnesses said he was racing with another car, which left the scene by going the wrong way down a one-way street. Supposedly it wasn't even his own car, he took it from a drinking buddy.
