Re: Fatal - Motorcycle Hits Stopped Truck/Trailer
First warning signs next to the road then removable rumble strips then traffic cones before the mobile warning sign. Especially in the fast lane on a highway or else you can expect this.

Re: Fatal - Motorcycle Hits Stopped Truck/Trailer
A mechanic at America West Airlines in Phoenix died this way. It was shift change, so everyone in the lanes was AWA personnel. They said he went by, looking down at his instrument panel. Looked up about 10 feet before he ran into the back of a semi-trailer. Just his mistake. (In his case, he hadn't changed over his beneficiaries yet, even though he had been divorced for a while. So his ex wife got all his insurance payments, pension rights, etc. His then-current girlfriend got nothing at all)

Re: Fatal - Motorcycle Hits Stopped Truck/Trailer
Looks like the guy with the truck-cam just barely managed to stop in time. (He did hit the bike, you can see it slide)
