My guess is a ruptured aorta. They can easily get torn in an accident. He's a big guy, but his belly is awfully distended into a high contour.

* Sharon - thoughts? I'm assuming you're seen these before.

Could also be this...The transition where you aorta goes from a fixed structure to a loose one in your thorax is where it typically breaks. The most common cause of death in a sudden deceleration. Your aorta gets sheered.

However, I do think this guy hit his head. Could be both injuries. I did notice the distended abdomen, it could be full of blood.

I feel for the woman sat next to her dead relative/friend. But i feel more for the people who where in the other car who were the victims of a twat-ish driver.

Ummm..the girls and the dead guy were from the car that was swerved into.

The twat in the Audi is the culprit.
