Electrical Transformer Pole Explodes and Falls Due to Flooding
Malaysia, The flood situation in Hatyai town continued to worsen when an electrical transformer pole exploded due to the sudden rise in water, causing power supply disruptions in the surrounding area. The explosion occurred in the morning on the Mac Khruang Bridge, Songkhla, causing thick smoke and sparks that frightened local residents. Floods that have occurred over the past few days have caused roads in Hatyai city centre to be submerged, forcing locals and tourists to be stranded in hotels and residential areas. Many shops and business premises were also closed due to the lack of electricity supply since yesterday. |

Somehow, that transformer was NOT as impressive as the ones in the movies! But maybe this one couldn't swim.  |
