The cyclist was only mildly injured, which was a small miracle.

Re: Elderly Man Knocked Off Bicycle After Dad Lets His 12 Yo Son Drive the Car
When I was 6 and my grandmother died in our house, when they came to take the body out, our neighbor took us all out for an ice cream, and I got to sit on his lap and drive his giant Buick. But it was only at about 25 mph, since I couldn't reach any pedals. But it was really cool. The steering wheel was like a giant ships wheel. It was a humongous car. Maybe that's where my love of cars came from. I felt like I was driving a battleship. Also, I didn't hit any bicyclists. Or anyone else. When we got home, the body was gone, and the funeral was 3 days later. I always figured that was something that NO ONE ever got to do nowadays, but apparently, some people are letting little kids drive. And they are all on crack, instead of ice cream. |
