Dump Truck with Failed Brakes Rams Concrete Barricades and a Car
Cochrane RCMP are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision between a dump truck and a car that occurred on Highway 1A at Centre Ave around 1:15 p.m. on May 24. Turned out to be failed brakes. The truck was believed to be heading westbound, coming down the Highway 1A hill, when it struck the car and then hit concrete barricades that were set up for construction. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to hospital with serious injuries, according to RCMP. |
