Drunk Woman on Bicycle Hit by a Toyota Camry
A Toyota Camry, driven by a 30-year-old man, hit a 41-year-old woman on a bicycle. She, as stated in the official police report, was moving in the opposite direction and was making a left turn. The unfortunate woman, who was thrown over her bicycle by more than a meter after the collision with the car, was taken to the hospital with multiple and serious injuries. According to the results of the medical examination for alcohol intoxication, the seriously injured lady had an alcohol content in her exhaled air of 0.524 mg/l. Simply put, she was drunk when she was riding a bicycle on the road, and then suddenly decided to leave it at an intersection, jumping over two lanes at once - her own and the oncoming one. Moreover, she did this by “hiding” behind a white passenger car that had entered the main road from a secondary one. As a result, the lady on the bicycle ended up in the Toyota driver's "blind spot". The man saw her at the last moment. |
