Sydney - Festivals are all about having fun and enjoying yourself but one man went a little too far - 65 feet too far - after climbing up on to a scaffolding tower, which formed part of the stage, and then slipping off and plunging 65-feet to the stage floor.
The man had scaled the tall temporary scaffold structure at the popular Creamfields Australia festival and once he had reached the top he proudly waved to the crowd for around 15 seconds before losing his footing and tumbling to the stage floor. Miraculously the man survived the fall with no apparent injuries.
The crazy man's stunt, clearly high on drink or drugs, earned him his 15-seconds of fame but despite somehow getting up and continuing to dance after the near fatal fall, security personnel evicted him from the festival.
On stage at the time of the mad antic was DJ Alesso, later he tweeted:
"Sydney you guys were insane!! Btw that crazy guy that jumped from the PA is alright.."
Creamfields is heading to Cheshire in the UK this August. Top artists performing will include David Guetta and Skrillex. Security around the stage side scaffolding towers will no doubt be more diligent this time around.
