Driver Smashes into Two Parked Cars

CCTV footage capturing a silver Ford backing out of a parking spot and smashing into two parked cars. It could almost be a clip from an episode of Mr Bean as a driver carefully backs out of their parking spot - before the car appears to speed up in reverse, smashing into two parked cars. It then comes to an abrupt halt 180 degrees later, after apparently hitting a barrier. British Transport Police have released video footage of the reverse attempt in a bid to trace the driver of the car, a silver Ford. They said no member of the public had yet come forward to report the collision, and officers were now appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They want to trace the driver of the car involved in the smash, which happened at Olton railway station in the West Midlands on Friday September 27.

Re: Driver Smashes into Two Parked Cars

Something odd there... the car the first time starts to accelerate and the driver hits the brake before it really takes off. Then starts moving again, and suddenly flies backwards. I'm wondering if this is a glitch with the accelerator? Most modern cars are not direct-cable any more, with electronic accelerators, so I could see something screwing going on there pretty easily.
