Driver Loses Control of Car on Speed Bump and Runs Down a Cyclist
Brazil, Yesterday. The cyclist lost part of his ear but remains in the Hospital after he underwent a surgical procedure and is now in a non life-threatening condition. The driver, who caused the accident, told the vehicle had mechanical problems in the steering wheel. He underwent an alcohol test. The result was negative. |

Looks to me like the driver had "mechanical problems in the accelerator pedal".

steering defect.. what about the brakes the makes it slow down and stop? or the gas pedal that cuts of the power?
