Dress of Female Dancer at Chinese Zoo Catches Fire During Show
Nantong Forest Safari Park, in Nantong City near Shanghai, China on april 1. She began dancing inside the flaming ring when the edge of her skirt became entangled and caught alight. Flames quickly spread upward, engulfing parts of her clothing and back area as she ran in fear. She was heard screaming as she frantically tried to shake off the flaming ring without success. The dancer then headed straight for the river directly behind the performance area and leapt into the water. The submersion successfully doused the flames within 11 seconds. |

Apparently they were also trying to torch a couple of horses, which likely WOULDN'T have thought to run for the river if their incendiary decor got out of hand...

In the first video, at the 00:30 sec mark, the screen from the music perfectly matched the moment, the first touch the dancer's back. That was pretty funny as she made a mad dash towards the water! I felt like I heard her say, "Flame on!!" and then, took off running.
