It’s interesting that there are quite a few that show the guardrails and several that do not. In my opinion I believe they should be on both sides fully installed around the whole corner. |

Unfortunately, the DocumentingReality.com watermark is covering up the datestamp, which would give us a better idea of the dates of the accidents, and give an idea of when the guardrails were installed.

The road is clearly slippery. Its a wonder nobody was bright enough to think of grooving the road (parallel to the centreline, i.e. curving around the bend) to provide the necessary grip for vehicles going around the corner. Problem solved. (Although, reduction in crash videos). |
