Detached Wheel from Car Strikes Teenage Pedestrian in the Head
A 19-year-old student was struck by a wheel that detached from a car in Chile, on Thursday. Before hitting the young man, the wheel collided with two other vehicles and was hurled toward the sidewalk. The student received first aid from municipal employees and was taken to Clínica Santa María. He sustained injuries to his forehead and chest but had no serious lesions. According to local press reports, the driver had just left a mechanic's shop shortly before the accident. |
