Des Moines Ambulance and Fire Truck Hits a Crashed Car
A vehicle involved in a crash on icy Pleasant Drive Thursday morning was struck by both the Des Moines ambulance and fire truck that responded to assist. Just some of the incident was captured on a doorbell video. The ambulance hit a power pole after sliding into the car. But the sequence wasn't over for it just yet. After swideswiping the civilian's car, the fire engine also hit the crashed ambulance. No firefighters or EMS personnel were injured. The video also shows another car spinning out and narrowly missing the vehicle from the original crash. A third crash happened when a vehicle driving toward the accident was slowing to stop and was struck from behind by a truck that couldn’t stop in time. No injuries were reported in that crash. It wasn't the only one for responders Thursday. Earler, as medics with the Des Moines Fire Department were handling a medical call, a fire engine slid into parked cars. No injuries were reported. |

Re: Des Moines Ambulance and Fire Truck Hits a Crashed Car
I never realized Des Moines was very similar to anywhere in India. Just no trains, no scooter cabs, and no dropping power lines. |
