This is the dramatic moment a bomb exploded in Iraq just yards from the cameraman who captured the blast on film.



TV filmmaker Imad Mitti miraculously escaped with his life as he filmed the horrifying images on an Iraqi street.

The astonishing footage shows flames and debris burst from the side of a three-storey building on to the road.

The camara shudders violently as the explosion rocks the city of Kirkuk.

Lucky Imad was unhurt in the explosion — and his remarkable film is now running on Iraqi news channels.

Four people died and 20 were wounded after the blast on Wednesday in Iraq's oil-rich northern city of Kirkuk.

Car bombs are a constant threat in the volatile Middle East nation blighted by ethnic tensions.
