A father and his two children fell into a 12-foot-deep open sewer manhole while riding their motorcycle. The father was taking his children home after school.

Bystanders and locals rushed to the scene immediately and used a ladder to pull the father and both children out of the deep pit.

While all three survived the fall, they sustained various minor and internal injuries and were taken to a nearby clinic for first aid.

The manhole had been left uncovered due to ongoing road construction and maintenance work. There were reportedly no barricades or warning signs to alert commuters.

CCTV footage of the family falling into the sewer caused widespread anger among residents over the negligence of the Municipal Corporation.

An investigation was launched, and the MC issued a notice and warning to the contractor for failing to secure the site.

Various minor and internal injuries... like, say, fecal aspiration? 'Least they don't have to wash the bike, or like, just burn its seat/any other 'porous' parts rather than cleaning it.
