Crossover Runover A serious accident shocked the city of Ariquemes on Thursday afternoon (06). A woman and a child lost their lives after colliding violently against a wall on Avenida Candeias. The victims were identified as Lucicleide Raimundo and her son, Alisson, 10 years old. According to witnesses, the woman would have screamed that she was without brakes before the impact. However, there is also the possibility that the vehicle's accelerator has locked. With the force of the crash, both died on the spot before rescue arrived. Two people riding on a scooter/MC. Probably a braking error or malfunction because the scooter hit the median curb faster than the riders intended: The rear rider's helmet flew off from the curb impact. Looks like the pax was sitting on the lap of the scooter/MC operator. That body probably obstructed access to the brake controls. |
