Crashing Biker Mows Down Woman and Three Kids
A car crash left four children and two wounded adults in Brazil. Wet asphalt may have been the cause of the accident. According to witness information, 42-year-old AMF was walking along the road with three children, five, seven and 10 years old, and passing near an intersection but were hit by a motorcycle. The vehicle was driven by FAA, 42 years old that had as passenger, GVS, 7 years old. According to the motorcyclist, he noticed the victims crossing, hit the motorcycle brakes, but due to rainy weather and wet asphalt, the front wheel of the vehicle slid and hit the pedestrians. With the impact all were thrown against the asphalt and were injured. Two ambulances and an Advanced Support Unit of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu), went to the accident site and during the pre-hospital care it was verified that five people were injured . The woman who walked with the children had bruises on her body and fractured her right knee. The children who had several injuries were referred to the emergency room of the Hospital of Clinics and the driver of the motorcycle suffered a fracture of the knee. |

hard to place blame. it was a crosswalk, but they didn't look either direction, and the biker was haulin' ass w/o yielding to possible crosswalk activity.
