If that happened at night, with no one around, it might have been months before the wreck was found. The driver might have survived if the vegetation was heavy enough to cushion the fall.

I would think the truck has some GPS system. The driver probably has a cell, use the locator. I don't think it would take that long to realize not only is he/she missing, but the truck/load never made it to its destination. Not the 1990s. |
