Mexico, A Coca-Cola truck with faulty brakes went straight to a bridge where it fell more than 20 meters into the ravine/river.

Citizens who made the first call to the authorities in the area, being members of the municipal police who, after about 15 minutes, made an appearance as they helped the injured, in addition to men who were working near the area and some students of in the area because it was their departure time as well as residents of the bridge who quickly came down to help and remove the driver and his companion who were seriously injured.

The anger was greater on the part of the citizens because they asked the police for an ambulance which they said they did not have one, the injured being transferred in a private car who offered to take them to a hospital, however it was later learned that the ambulance was in front of the municipal presidency stopped without paramedics and broken down.

Neighbors point out that this serious accident shows the lack of capacity of the municipal council to be able to attend to this type of accidents where it was clearly observed that the police did not help the two crew members of the truck, who were trapped and were removed by residents of the area.

Had the truck been carrying Diet Coke, it might have been able to stop - - it being all lighter weight and everything…

Too bad I never drink the stuff. Mexican Coca~Cola is far better that Coke made in the US. The US uses High Fructose Corn Syrup while Mexican Coke is made with cane sugar.

Even better if it had been Coke Zero. The truck might have just floated away, and drifted on the wind until it settled in a meadow somewhere, only awakening the driver with the gentle nudge of touching down after long flotation.


At least, that's what I like to think would have happened.
