I lived through a "certain death" scenario once, as a driver: Narrow 2-lane rural highway through mountains 70 mph. I crested a ridge and faced 2 cars in both lanes coming RIGHT AT ME (one was illegally passing). Without thinking, I flicked the wheel to the right then left then right and went around them via my right shoulder. I did that maneuver faster than I could move my foot to the brake pedal. It was so surreal, I just smiled and continued down the road as if I did it every day.

I don't think about it often but this video reminds me of it. I am extremely focused when I drive, and was extra lucky that day.
