I really don't believe he couldn't have waited a bit longer till the next gass station or other off road stopping place to do this.. and what good would cleaning your lights do in this kind of weather and dirt on the road..

Something odd going on there. You don't need to rub and scrub your headlights for five minutes when they are wet with snow. And why do it at the side of a busy highway??????
