Chinese Man Trapped in Car Drowns in Lake
Location and details unknown. This shows how challenging it is to escape from a flooding vehicle during the extreme stress and panic of the moment.

One of my many phobias, a slow drowning.

Damn, that's a scary situation to be in for sure. It's too bad he didn't have one of those car safety keychains, they're like $15 on amazon and lets you easily shatter a window, even underwater. |

Why is he wasting his time on his phone? Like someone is going to race to him from across town in the next 120 seconds? This would be a great video to promote those handheld clicky-things that bust out windows. It would have saved his life. · |

Re: Chinese Man Trapped in Car Drowns in Lake
Guess he waited too long trying to open the sunroof and could have tried the power windows button seconds after the plunge as usally they still work for a short time. If not i would have grabbed the headrest and use the pointed end to break the window or place your feet against the windshield and push that one out. More strenth using your legs and water wasn't pressing against the windshield yet. If all fails wait for the entire car inside is filled with water, take a deep breath, and open the door as the pressure should be equalized then. Easy said than done though.

This seems like a skit for informational purposes. He didn’t try very hard and wasted a lot of time.
