hong kong. a Lotus sports car was driving along Pok Yin Road in the direction of Science Park. Due to slippery road conditions, it crashed into a lamp post and the whole car was almost halved. The male driver surnamed Chan (42 years old) and the male passenger (28 years old) sat in the car after accident occurred. Passers-by reported the incident to police. The two victims reported chest and neck pain respectively and needed to be taken to Tai Po Nethersole Hospital by ambulance for treatment. The two victims were lucky to be alive. |

Yeah, Lotus' sports cars aren't exactly built like tanks. Their light-weight construction (like this Exige) is part of their appeal. They're very lucky that most of the energy of the crash was dissipated by the back end of it breaking apart like it did. |
