Re: China - No Seat Belt Means You Could Die

A black passenger car had an accident in China on (8/31). After hitting the guardrail of the gate, the car lost control and rolled several times before stopping.

The driver, 26-year-old Deng Nan, was thrown out of the car. Auto media person "Andy Papa" posted the footage of the horrific car accident on Facebook, and he couldn't help appealing, "Please remember, when driving, hitchhiking, or riding in a car, as long as you are in the car, you must wear your seat belt. Please, don't forget!"

It is understood that at 2:00 p.m. at the 46K northbound on National Highway No. 3, the black passenger car of this department had an accident with a white SUV for unknown reasons.

Outside the car, the driver was severely injured and bleeding, the body was painful in many places, and he was conscious. The patient was sent to Yadong Hospital by ambulance for treatment; the driver of the SUV was uninjured and parked on the shoulder of the road.

The National Highway Police initially judged that Deng Nan, a black passenger car, was suspected of not wearing a seat belt, and would only be thrown out of the car when the accident occurred.

If he did not wear a seat belt, he could be fined 3,000 yuan in accordance with Article 31, Item 2 of the "Regulations on Road Traffic Management Penalties".

A fine of up to NT$6,000; and reiterated that the most common cause of highway accidents is failure to maintain a safe distance.

In addition to the fine of NT$3,000 to NT$6,000, if the accident causes serious injury or death, the driver's license will also be suspended or revoked.
