Two Hutchinson women were injured Sunday afternoon April 5 when a pickup pulled into the parking lot at the Dollar General store, 3030 N. Lorraine, failed to stop and crashed into the store.
Mary Hall, 91, 810 E. 30th, Apt. 203, was flown to Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, for treatment of injuries following the 4 p.m. accident.
Carol A. Sallee, 67, 613 Molly Mall, was transported by EMS to Promise Regional Medical Center after she was also struck by the vehicle.
Police reported that the Chevrolet pickup driven by Virginia L. Whitehorn, 73, 40 E. 29th Parkway, may have had a mechanical problem that contributed to the crash.
