Car's Gas Tank Explodes at Gas Pump
Argentina, An Astra 2006 with a new CNG was loading the gas tank. For unknows reasons the gas tank exploded. Miraculously no one suffered serious injuries.  |

Looks like the explosion was mostly directed up to the sky or down to the ground. If the sides of the tank had ruptured those people would have had numerous shrapnel wounds.

Looks more like a catastrophic rupture than an explosion, ie: rapid high pressure release without ignition.
