Carousel Ride Collapses Mid-flight at a Fair Ground Injuring 21 Kids
A carousel ride has collapsed mid-flight at a fair ground injuring 21 children. Footage shows the moment the carousel suddenly plunges to the ground as children scream and people look on in horror at the Sky Land Club in Ramallah, Palestine. The children were taken to the Arab Advisory Hospital after the incident on Friday although none were described as having anything worse than moderate or minor injuries. Laila Ghannam, who is governor of the city, has since pledged that the Public Prosecutor’s Office will hold an inquiry into the incident. The ride – and the section of the park that it is in – have been closed while police investigate. |
