IMHO, the Range Rover driver might have fallen asleep, woke up and made a panic correction of the steering wheel, causing loss of vehicle control... resulting in one of the most explosive crashes I've seen in a very long time! Note to self... do NOT drive a Mitsubishi! They fail the crash test in a dynamic way!

Data in the USA supports your assertion. Friend of mine had a Range Rover. Axel broke when his wife was driving. The service guy at Range Rover said "axel broke, huh?". Seems it happened all the time and the service guy was used to seeing broken axels. I wonder if this car in the video had a suspension component break, causing this accident. |
