A Careless Passenger in the Amur Region Was Pulled Under the Train.
In Shimanovsk, a passenger standing on the edge of the platform was pulled under the electric train, as a result of which the man lost his legs. The press service of the Trans-Baikal Railway confirmed to Amur Info that the accident really happened, and noted that the reason for this was the man’s going out of the overall lane - the car caught his bag, after which the victim was pulled under a train. Railway workers emphasized that the platform was in proper condition, it was cleaned of ice and snow and sprinkled with sand. Its lighting meets the necessary standards, and the overall strip is clearly visible. The injured 34-year-old man was promptly hospitalized, at the time of the incident he was sober. It was not possible to save the legs - the limbs had to be amputated at the level of the lower leg. Currently, due to a large loss of blood, the patient's condition is serious, but stable. The East Siberian Investigative Directorate for Transport of the RF IC conducts a pre-investigation check of the incident. |

Could happen to anyone, would only take walking around a bunch of slow people to get caught by a passing train. Horrible way of being maimed. |
