A serious accident was recorded Sunday afternoon (05) Febr. on Avenida Porto Velho, in the center of Cacoal, where the driver of a vehicle lost control and collided violently against a tree in the median.

According to information, the driver followed the avenue, towards the Center for the Jardim Clodoaldo neighborhood, when passing in an elevated lane, he lost control of the direction, colliding with a tree.

With the violence of the impact, the driver was trapped in the vehicle hardware. In addition to the driver, three other people were also seriously injured, some got ejected from the vehicle.

The Military Police were called and arrived quickly at the scene, as well as a Rescue Unit of the Fire Department, which carried out the extrication of the victims and sent them in serious condition to the Heuro Hospital.

One of the victims had the loss of one of his eyes. The Technical Police were also called in and carried out the forensic work, which after the studies will point out the real cause of the accident.
