before she was going over she should have clearly been able to see in front of the semi at the non-moving traffic in the far right lane...Moral of the story here...get over sooner and not at the last second.
That's what I thought at first too, that she should have been able to see the traffic ahead. But there was a truck in front of the truck she was passing behind, and we couldn't see what was in front of that one. If there was a line of trucks, her view could have been obstructed. It doesn't excuse her crappy driving, however. As you said, she should have moved over to the exit lane sooner. On an almost daily basis I see people waiting until the last second to get into the exit lane, forcing others to brake to avoid an accident.

the truck recording the video did a few bumps near before it stopped. i wonder what it went over at. car parts or human.

if she went by the book by changing one lane at a time, it wouldnt have happened. switch one, drive a few second to see if its clear then switch two. she would have been fine.
