When I was in high school, I worked for a school district mowing football fields and school campuses. We had to transport tractors with rickety, old pickup trucks with 19' flat bed trailers. One afternoon, we were transporting a loaded tractor and trailer when we went over a railroad crossing going about 45 mph. I was riding in the passenger seat of the truck when the driver and I looked up and saw the tractor passing us on the right with the bumper of the truck securely fastened to the trailer. Slow motion...The hell on wheels leveled a barbershop sign and managed to find it's way into the very same barber shop where there were 15 people inside. Missed all of them, but I made the front page of the local newspaper shrugging my shoulders while talking to the cops...I need to locate the article and post it...We got lucky...

The person who hitched that trailer needs to be schooled on the proper way to do it
