There's nothing he could do in this vid, it looks like the camera is on the drivers side which gives a good indication of exactly what he saw, which was nothing because of the orange car obstructing his view... At the 0:02 mark he notices the orange car is going to hit and at that point, with his speed and position it's game over. I think if he swerved to the right and rolled into the ditch he'd have a greater risk of death. No way he would have made it that far anyways, with his speed trying to turn would have been useless. Only thing that would have prevented this was not driving so fast and following so closely to the car in front. |
