One night on a night off this man and his son are sitting in the fathers truck and both are wasted... Suddenly the son get's in the drivers side and starts up the truck and the father jumps in the truck but didn't have a chance to close his door and I watched him as he literally rolled across the street and into the curb... When I got there he was semi-conscious and trying to get up and I had to tell the cops to help me hold him down so he didn't further injure himself and I could monitor his vital signs until Fire got there to transport him to the hospital... I think he was so drunk and his body so relaxed that when he impacted the curb he didn't even feel it...nor did he have any serious injuries... Sorry for sharing but seeing this guy go flying made me think of it...  |
