Re: Car Mechanic Lowering BMW on Car Lift Fail
I hate those side post lifts. There are DOZENS of videos like this on Youtube. They drop cars and kill people all the time. If I ever install a lift, it's going to be a center post garage lift, like they used in the 1960's and 1970's. Those have an excellent safety record. There are still companies that make them. I saw a picture of a storage side post lift that dropped some guy's $90,000 Corvette onto the top of his $150,000 Ferrari. I bet HE was crying, even with insurance. The money doesn't mean shit if your beautiful cars are destroyed.

First time I've seen them in China help someone, they usually go on about their day. Maybe they were just trying to save the car.

Re: Car Mechanic Lowering BMW on Car Lift Fail
Like a colony of ants all these men rushed to save the day. Which is pretty rare for this website. And goes to prove that order really does come from chaos. Look at how orderly all those men became to help lift the car amongst this chaos. |
