The driver was making a turn from the wrong lane as well. Judging by the location of the car and the nearest right turn the driver could have made, it looks as though they might have missed their turn, as they were already most of the way through the intersection when they made a hard right. Had they been in the correct lane to make a turn this never would have happened.
