I agree with yankyboy to a degree. Why do so many ghouls enjoy human death (kids included!)... but get upset and angry when a fucking animal is killed? Don't most of you eat meat/dairy/wear leather/ etc? Sometimes, it appears that you are saying that animals are worth more than humans. (And do not go on about rapists and murderers please! That's not what I mean! Human life and suffering, is far greater than that of the other animals. Give any animal the capability to use a weapon, and it will use it on everything that moves. Generally I think people get all upset about animals getting hurt (myself included) because they don't "deserve" it on some moral level. They're eternally innocent. The same can't be said for human beings, even for some children. So we guffaw and whoop when a human bites the dust because somewhere in the back of our mind we're thinking, "They deserved that." We cringe when a dog gets run over because they are, for the most part, faithful companions who enrich our lives, and who want little in return.

Do cattle, sheep, and other stock animals deserve to die? No more and no less than humans do. But at least we justify those deaths by saying, "Carnivores gotta eat, cow gotta die." But we make the effort to make their deaths quick, when it's intended.
