Car Falls on Worker when Tow Truck Lashing Strap Breaks
A Brazilian worker was nearly crushed to death when a tow truck, carrying a car and 3 bikes, broke a lashing strap buckle making the car fall down on the worker. The 64 year old worker, who works as a contractor, suffered only a head injury. He was brought to the Hospital by the other workers and got 8 stitches in his head. |

It's nice the little puppy went to help. He's hoping he can get a car ride later.

That lashing strap buckle was only rated for a car and 3 motorcycles, not a car and 3 motorcycles + 1 Brazilian. OR could it be the brakes failed? Also, "only a head injury"... cool, so nothing critical. |

Re: Car Falls on Worker when Tow Truck Lashing Strap Breaks
~ If one looks closely, the guy who gets out of the strapped vehicle, steps on the strap holding the vehicle from underneath, which caused the strap to fail, as well as causing an uneven load on it, thus causing the vehicle & motorcycles to fall.
