Bus Waiting for Pedestrian at Crosswalk but Car Hits Him Hard
St. Petersburg. A Tajikistanian man, 25, didn't stop when approaching a crosswalk and hits a teenager who was celebrating his birthday that day. The victim is in serious condition in the hospital, with a closed traumatic brain injury, a fractured jaw, and a cervical vertebra fracture. |

He shouldn't have been celebrating his birthday in the middle of the road! Also, running further out into the road when he saw the car coming was a poor choice. Retreating back behind the bus would have been better. |
