Bus Tries to Overtake and Runs Over a Motorcyclist
Guatemala, In a curve, the driver of an intercity bus tried to overtake a vehicle so he invaded the opposite lane without noticing the motorcyclist who was passing by. The bus collided directly with the biker, throwing him to the side of the road. In the process, the bus hit a parked pickup truck. The bus driver fled the scene after the incident, while a man, believed to be the assistant, got out of the bus and ran to try to make way for the vehicle. The bus driver told that the only thing he did was “leave the people” to return and take responsibility. He says that he was accompanying the biker at the health center while they perform tests and determine his health situation. |
