I believe you are right. It was my first thought. Throughout the video there was no indication of braking. There are a primary and secondary air tanks on trucks and busses. If he was driving along with low air presssure a warning light & bell would have been constant. Most likely is when he applied brakes, an airlin burst, draining air & not allowing braking. Even then, the brakes should have automatically locked up when air pressure gets too low. Pressure holds the brakes OPEN. Very low air tank pressure releases and therefore engages brakes. ahh, who the fuck knows? |
