Bridge with Car Parked on It Collapses
China. A bridge collapsed in Hubei and a car fell into the river and was swept away. The driver had already got off the car, and there was no one in it. The rainy season has arrived across the country. |

I once went backpacking in the mountains in China. I remember some crazy two lane mountain roads over steep deadly drops that literally had pieces missing from erosion, etc. Combine that with the crazy drivers who had no problem passing on blind mountain curves & you pretty much had to change your pants afterwards. I remember telling myself that I was already dead so I might as well enjoy the view.  |

Prolly to prevent the water level upstream to rise rapidly like a filling bathtub as that could cause nearby upstream business at immediate risk of flooding so clearing the path of the stream. Bet that guy was already busy removing stuff before they started filming.
