Bouquet of Balloons Explodes at Indian Market
India, A bouquet of balloons, orange, red and white -- in a blink, engulfing the market lane in light as shoppers scrambled for cover. No one had a clue what was coming. The woman holding the balloons disappeared in the flames. A man who stood nearby with his arms cross flapped them wildly as he made his escape. But in the end, it seems, no one was badly hurt. Four people suffered "minor injuries" in yesterday's explosion. |

Leave it to Indians to use cheaper flammable gas in party balloons. BTW, the Hindenburg was filled with hydrogen because the USA had stopped shipments of helium to Germany.  · |
