Yeah, rain-covered road, poor visibility, cars and trucks travelling fast, debris on roadway, damaged car blocking the centre lane... why on earth would anyone drive a safe distance down the road before pulling over and stopping? Beats me.

Or..., the driver just did the ol' "drive slowly to see if others stop, so I can continue on my way".

And then a damn dog has to run out across the road. At least, I think it was a dog. Hope the little guy made it. Bummer for the guy in the BMW.

Re: BMW Loses Control On Wet Road

Yeah, I forgot about the dog. It's kind of a surrealist touch to the video. I'm not sure if it's a dog; it kind of looks like a small coyote. In any case, he chose the wrong direction to run.

Oh, which dog? There is one at about 12 seconds and another one at 34 seconds. Maybe the first guy caused the driver to react inappropriate to the driving conditions?

A big puddle of water is enough to lose control

Oh wow, I didn't even see the one at 12 seconds... I think it's the same one later on. And to me it kinda looks like the dog was jumping out of the crashed car, but it could have been what caused the dude to swerve... Either way, I feel sad now. I'll just keep telling myself the little guy made it unscathed.
