Re: A BMW Driver Plows Through Some Parked Cars
A serious multi-vehicle crash occurred on July 31, 2026, at the intersection of East Grand Avenue (Route 209) and South 6th Street in Tower City Borough, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. A 16-year-old driving a 2012 BMW at a high rate of speed on East Grand Avenue struck a 2011 Subaru Outback that was entering the roadway. The BMW then veered into the opposing lane and slammed into a parked 2017 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, causing a chain-reaction collision with two other vehicles. The 16-year-old BMW driver and a 56-year-old pedestrian standing behind the parked pickup suffered severe injuries and were airlifted to Hershey Medical Center. A 75-year-old passenger in the Subaru sustained minor injuries. The Pennsylvania State Police reconstruction unit confirmed that criminal charges remain officially pending against the 16-year-old Sacramento resident. The investigation cited extreme high speed as the primary cause of the chain-reaction collision. |
