A drunk and drugged BMW driver drove into a pole while being chased by police in Bucharest. A 27-year-old man is kept in pre-trial detention after trying to run away from the police. The movie-like chase began on Aviatorilor Boulevard. At a crossing, law enforcement officers signaled him to stop, but the young man did not comply. When he reached Gheorghe Magheru Boulevard, he lost control of the steering wheel, entered the opposite direction and crashed into a traffic light. Police found that the driver had used cocaine and alcohol.   |
