being on a phone whilst in control of a vehicle is illegal in most places..... so yeah, he does have a right....us bikers are sick and tired of losing friends because of self important cunts who can't get off their phones whilst driving

Maybe he'll keep his mouth shut next time. If you drive a motorcycle every day your putting your life in the hands of people driving cars, that's what I would consider a terrible life choice. |

In California, it is legal to "lane-split" on a motorcycle. Bikers are allowed to ride between slow moving or stopped cars.

wow, clearly there are some real sensitive minds on here. This brings up the old debate, what is it that makes seemingly normal people instantly turn into pricks behind the wheel (and behind the handlebar). I'm a biker and no, Mufasa7, bikers likely do not think they own the road, but it sounds like you feel threatened by them somehow. You should come live in France. Here every other person is scooting around on a wide array of two-wheelers. Americans react poorly to bikers mostly because they are so rare and there's ignorance behind these reactions. Now, I don't hold any truths, it's just one man's opinion (not here to set the record straight or teach anyone anything). bottom line: the biker should've kept his mouth shut, it's obviously intuitive. That said, no, I don't feel beamer-man should've knocked the other guy out, another intuitively obvious position. We don't live on Mad Mad Fury Road, last time I checked. |
